I found a new hobby for me and pooh lately

We like to collect and watch romantic movies DVD together! :D It’s fun, and it makes us closer  as we watch it while hu’ or at least holdingging each others hand teeheeheehee ^^

So here are the list of my top 20 best romantic movies!!

1. Serendipity   (v)

Director : Peter Chelsom
Producer : Simon Fields

200pxserendipity I must say this is my best romantic movie.
Partly bcos Kate Beckinsale is soooo pretty, partly bcos John Cussack is cute (at least in this movie). but mostly bcos the story is very unique and funny,
It’s about 2 ppl, Sarah (Kate beckinsale) and Jonathan (John cussack), who meet bcos of fate and blv that if they were meant to be together, fate will again lead them to find their way back into one another’s live.

But fate has it’s own plan that night. they didnt meet.
Until a few years later, each of them is going to marry another person and each of them are about to find out that fate somehow can just be delayed unless they do something about it.

Soundtrack :
Waiting in Vain by Annie Lennox,
im crazy about this song, but not before i watch this movie.
Funny thing is the most romantic part from this movie isnt about sarah and jonathan,
but its when Sarah’s bf (John Corbett) proposed her to be his wife.
Apparently the director’s agree with me, that is the moment when this song was played haha.

My rating : * * * * * (a very must seen movie)

2. You’ve Got Mail  (v)

Director : Nora Ephron

Uve_got_mail_1 At first i was unable to decide between Serendipity or You’ve Got mail as my best movie. They’re both romantic and funny,
but somehow i made my decision bcos Serendipity has a very unique plot and  theme.
Main characters are Meg Ryan, the romantic comedy queen and Tom Hanks
You’ve Got mail’s story is about 2 ppl who fell in love with one another through the internet. What they didnt realize is that they’ve known each other in real life as a business competitor because they never expose their private details, not even their real names.

Soundtrack : My fave soundtrack in this movie is Dreams by The Cranberries. It really fits the scene and brightened the ambience.

My ratings : * * * * *

3. A Walk to Remember  (v)

Director : Adam Shankman
Author : Nicholas Sparks

WalkThe reason i put this movie on my list is………
I LOVE MANDY MOORE!!!!!!!!!
Cmon!! u must admit that she is pretty in a classy way. unlike some teenage bitch in her same generation. In fact, generally i wont put these sad kind of movies on my list AT ALL. Or else I would’ve put "Message in a Bottle" here too. I Love happy ending stories!! But im willing to make an exception just for Mandy :) I can go on and on about how amazing Mandy Moore is, but not wanting to bore all of you, i’ll just go straight to the story itself ^.^
This teen romance is about 2 teenagers who had 2 completely different world eventhough they were in the same high school. Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) is a reverend’s daughter, very religious and have a good reputation at school. Landon Carter (Shane West) is a popular one, rebelious and one day this habit invites trouble and punishment.

When events thrust him into her world, he begins an unexpected journey he’ll never forget.

My fave Quote of the movie :

Jamie: Your’re acting like a crazy person, what’s going on?
Landon: Right now, you’re straddling the state line.
Jamie: OK…
Landon: You’re in two places at once.

Landon: I’m sorry she never got her miracle.
Reverend Sullivan: She did. It was you.

Soundtrack :   "You" by Switchfoot and "Only Hope" by switchfoot, this song was played in Landon and Jamie’s wedding ceremony scene. So sadddddddd T___T
